Introduction
“Ritmo” (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) is a habit tracker application for recording and managing daily habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in the App.
Information We Collect
1. Habit Data
The App stores the following data locally on your device only for the purpose of recording and managing habits:
- Habit name, icon, color, and frequency settings
- Habit check records (date and completion time)
- Reminder time settings
- Streak data
This data is stored only on your device (via SwiftData) and is never transmitted to external servers.
2. HealthKit Data
With your permission, the App accesses the following health data from Apple HealthKit in read-only mode to link habits with your health activity:
- Step count
- Exercise time
- Active energy burned
- Mindfulness (meditation time)
- Sleep hours
- Walking and running distance
- Cycling distance
- Dietary water intake
- Flights climbed
- Workout count
Important: The App only reads HealthKit data and never writes to it. Retrieved HealthKit data is never transmitted to external servers. HealthKit integration is an optional feature; if you do not grant permission, you can still record habits manually.
3. Notifications
The App uses push notifications, with your permission, to send habit reminder alerts. Notification settings are processed only on your device.
4. Advertising Data (AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect the following information to optimize ad delivery:
- Advertising identifier (IDFA)
- Device information
- App usage information
- Ad interaction information

5. In-App Purchases (Pro version)
The App uses Apple App Store StoreKit 2 to offer Pro version features. Purchases are processed by Apple, and the App does not collect or store any payment information.
How We Use Information
The collected information is used for the following purposes:
- Providing app functionality (habit recording, management, and statistics)
- Automatic habit completion via HealthKit integration
- Sending reminder notifications
- Improving app quality and fixing bugs
- Delivering advertisements
Information Sharing
Information collected by the App may be shared with the following third-party service:
- Google AdMob: For ad delivery
Habit data and HealthKit data are never shared with any third party.
Your Rights
You have the following rights:
- You can change HealthKit data access permissions in your device settings
- You can change notification permissions in your device settings
- You can limit the use of advertising identifier (IDFA) in your device settings
- You can stop future information collection by uninstalling the App
Data Retention Period
- Habit data: Stored only on the device and never transmitted externally by the App
- HealthKit data: Accessed on-device only; not stored or transmitted by the App
- Advertising data: Stored according to AdMob policies
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information. However, please understand that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

This Privacy Policy may be changed without notice. In case of significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. We recommend that you review this page periodically.
