Introduction
“mozata” (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) is a photo editing application that allows users to apply mosaic effects to photos. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in the App.
Information We Collect
1. Photos and Camera Access
The App requests access to photos and camera for the following purposes:
- Camera: To take photos and apply mosaic effects
- Photo Library (Read): To select existing photos and apply mosaic effects
- Photo Library (Write): To save edited photos
Important: Photos taken or selected are processed only on your device and are never transmitted to external servers.
2. Face Detection
The App uses Apple’s Core Image framework (CIDetector) on-device to detect the location of faces within photos selected by the user, solely for the purpose of automatically positioning mosaic effects.
- Information detected: Only the rectangular region (position and size) of faces. No biometric data, facial geometry, or facial recognition data is extracted.
- Processing location: All face detection processing is performed entirely on your device.
- Retention: Detection results are held in memory only during the active editing session and are immediately discarded when the editing screen is closed.
- Transmission and sharing: No face data is saved to disk, transmitted to external servers, or shared with any third parties.
3. Advertising Data (AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect the following information to optimize ad delivery:
- Advertising identifier (IDFA)
- Device information
- App usage information
- Ad interaction information

4. Other Permissions
The App may request the following permissions as part of advertising services:
- Bluetooth: For proximity marketing by advertising services
- Calendar: For event creation by advertising services
These features are used by advertising service providers and are not directly used by the App.
How We Use Information
The collected information is used for the following purposes:
- Providing app functionality (mosaic effect features)
- Improving app quality and fixing bugs
- Delivering advertisements
Information Sharing
Information collected by the App may be shared with the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob: For ad delivery

- You can change permissions for camera and photo library access in your device settings
- You can limit the use of advertising identifier (IDFA) in your device settings
- You can stop future information collection by uninstalling the App

Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information. However, please understand that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
